BANK OF CYPRUS AND HELLENIC BANK
(Complete lack of consciousness in situations of national crisis).
Despite the fact that the attention of citizens and the government is focused on the areas of Health and the gigantic effort to save the lives of our fellow human beings,with all health agencies on the front line at the risk of their lives.
The so far business attitude of the addresses of the two major banks, despite all the appeals of both the Minister of Finance Mr. Petridis, and the governor of the CB, is not only reprehensible and nationally unacceptable, but must, within the context of the state of emergency ,to consider the possibility, if it is also unconstitutional.
In a war where everyone, in one way or another offers all their power and capabilities, at the altar of the public interest ,for the protection anf survival of the people of this place, the behavior of the banking system must be viewed through a different lens.
Banks are not invisible or impersonal institutions. They have addresses from persons who have Cypriot citizenship and are subject to the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.
These aren't all alien invaders!!!
If they themselves consider themselves to be aliens without obligations and responsibilities to the state and citizens, then quite simply
the state can treat them accordingly. As parasites or parasitic entities.
To be judged as hostile forces for the Cypriot people and our state, and to be brought to tbefore a court martial!!!
Perhaps on the charge of high treason????
