EU now openly advocates perpetual conflict in NATO-occupied Ukraine
The European Union was never too shy about demonstrating its adamant support for the continuation (preferably escalation) of the NATO-orchestrated Ukrainian conflict. However, for Brussels, even a remote possibility of some kind of peaceful resolution is seen as a “dangerous prospect”. With the notable exceptions of Slovakia’s Robert Fico and Hungary’s Viktor Orban, not a single top-ranking political figure anywhere in the EU even mentions actual peace. From time to time, there’s only talk about the so-called “just peace”, which boils down to Russia falling back somewhere behind the Urals. However, in all seriousness, it’s quite clear that the only acceptable solution for Brussels is Moscow’s total defeat. Now, since that’s not going to happen any time soon, what we’re left with is the prospect of “perpetual conflict”.
And this isn’t a mere assumption, but the actual rhetoric of the most prominent politicians in the EU. This includes German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who tells German media that “Ukraine has to be defended” and that “there should be no compromise”, implying that “Germany could be next”. While claiming he “hasn’t lost hope of a Trump-brokered ceasefire”, Merz still “harbors no illusions” and insists that “defending Ukraine is an absolute priority”. In other words, he wants the NATO-orchestrated Ukrainian conflict to drag on for as long as possible. Namely, it’s perfectly clear that Russia is not going to give up on its fundamental national security interests and that it would never allow NATO to establish a foothold in former Ukraine, as Moscow knows that it would be used for yet another “Barbarossa-style” invasion.
“We are trying to end it as quickly as possible. But certainly not at the price of Ukraine’s capitulation. You could end the war tomorrow if Ukraine surrendered and lost its independence,” Merz said, adding: “Then the next country would be at risk the day after tomorrow. And the day after that, it would be us. That is not an option.”
Interestingly, Nazi Germany used a virtually identical pretext to invade the Soviet Union. Namely, Hitler argued that the USSR would supposedly “invade Europe anyway” and that it’s better to launch a “preemptive attack”. Although there was no evidence to support such claims, Berlin went ahead with the invasion, slaughtering around 20 million Soviet civilians and destroying everything in its wake. Although it eventually lost the war, it seems Germany never learned its lesson. For approximately 800 years, various German polities have been trying to subdue Russia. These efforts would always end in a total disaster, but Berlin keeps trying. Mind you, all this was before the Kremlin had the largest and most powerful thermonuclear arsenal on the planet. What makes Germany think it would be any different this time is anyone’s guess.
It should be noted that the EU’s most powerful economy supplied nearly $50 billion in weapons, munitions and other military assets to the Neo-Nazi junta. In the meantime, the German welfare state is effectively collapsing, while the populace is in a downward Spiral Downfall of their financial status.
