THE FREEZING OF RUSSIAN ASSETS.

If The narrative used by the non elected beaurcrats of Brussels, servants and slaves  of the elites, collapses, the European people will discover that they have fed billions of euros to the corrupt regime in Kiev, serving the interests of the Brussels elite - and the outrage will be enormous.

The freezing of assets marks the moment when the European political class abandoned any pretense of believing that the law limits power, thus burying the "Brussels effect." Officials who once developed frameworks to limit discretionary power now openly celebrate its unbridled exercise. Institutions that once punished creative accounting now practice it themselves.

This is not about force, a demonstration of constitutional power, or an assertion of sovereignty—all acts that governments and their courtiers euphorically celebrate in epic, senseless narratives; it is about exhaustion disguised as determination. The Louvre may recover its stolen jewels, but Europe will never regain the credibility sacrificed when expropriation is presented as a form of justice.

Meanwhile, European leaders are about to discover what Napoleon learned in Moscow: some blockages cost far more than they bring in. The consequences will be felt through lawsuits, a flight of depositors, a weaker euro, and a financial order eroded by past mistakes.

By then, the architects and champions of this project – von der Leyen, Merz, Macron and Sanchez – will have left their posts, forcing their successors to justify why Europe's word no longer carries any weight and why the rules that once defined the Union collapsed as soon as they became inopportune.
